X., a series of comments, first, a condition I noted while using the previous ver.: the incorporated map had remained active while the sim ran and, if I recall correctly, towards the final days of the previous ver., the sim would present a white screen while seeking a location on the map and would not present in-sim, real-time data; however, closing the map resolves the sim. Second, pause. At times the cursor, keyb state doesn't remain within the sim and when altering the controls input variables in the new ver. or needing to apply airbreaks, flaps, or landing gear in the pervious ver. it became necessary to cursor to pause, click pause, and return to the sim.; this is poss. if you align for a steep right turn, move over pause, click, wait a moment, and then return to the sim -- you have to realign yourself but it's good practice, too. Third, dial arms. Airspeed, pitch, and compass arms aren't always resolved and seem to shift on and off; for some reason the engine percentage seems stable throughout. (Obviously Watson has been feeling "his" oats.) Fourth, the clouds, in any configuration, don't seem to remain stable. In the previous ver., their 4-dimensionality -- if the cloud was a rain cloud, it was present from all directions and you progressed around it -- was striking. The new ver. seems to have trouble with the real-time weather stability; high altitude cloud flashes on and off. Fifth, there's a slow script message that seems to appear when utilizing high sensitivity with the controls; excellent addition, if it takes some time to relearn mousing. Sixth, the chat, both days, doesn't at times resolve and may display position markers(?) -- 'x' -- where there letter should resolve. With all this, I ought to say that I'm still finding the sim interesting to use and it's even a little easier for me with high-sensitivity controls to roll, bank and turn in mountains. Besides, we simpilots are rooting for your sim! (Ever consider selling your s'ware to Google? Bet they'd be interested.) Cheers, Geoff
